ABOUT
Act In Space is a 24hr non-stop hackathon format created by the 

CNES

 (French National Space Agency) and the 

ESA - European Space Agency

 that runs worldwide every 2 years. Each participating country organizes a national hackathon whose winner will participate in the international final. This Facebook event is dedicated for teams in Latvia who will have a chance to present their ideas in the global Act in Space finale.

Space Based solutions cover a wide spectrum of sectors -  healthcare,   aerospace,  AI,  telecommunications,  logistics, etc. We will help hackathon participants understand and take advantage of:
- Satellite Navigation,
- Satellite Communication,
- Earth Observation,
- Spaceflight Technologies and other topics.

THE PROCESS
 From November 13 - 14 participants will be solving challenges chosen from the global Act in Space list.
 Teams of max 5 people each, will be mentored by different field experts with a goal to develop a prototype.

 The team from Latvia will win a ticket to Toulouse to present further their prototype/idea concept there. This will give the opportunity to compete with teams from other countries in the grand finale and get some of the grand prizes listed below.

THE GRAND FINALE PRIZES
